Today we have a guest playlist from fatimagaye.tumblr.com. I approached her about making me a dubstep mix this morning and it was so good that I thought that I should share.
Dubstep is this subgenre of electronic music (not just a techno offshoot, sorry Trey, haha) that has these woozy beats, focused on the deep “sawing” bass in the low end (you’ll know it when you hear it).

In preparation for the New Year’s festivities, I asked Ryan for some good dance music for a mix I was making - seeing as a buddy of mine was bringing a strobe light, I only found it necessary to prepare accordingly. However, although not surprisingly, my iPod was replaced after only 2 or 3 songs, but I still thought the playlist (entitled “Dancing Monkeys”) was very good:
